    • How these job lists work

    • Every project is a real Freelancer.com listing that MoreGigs has seen, usually within minutes of it being posted, with a link to the original.
    • Each list shows the newest projects from the last 72 hours, up to 25 per skill, and refreshes about every ten minutes.
    • Projects that break our usage policy (such as fake reviews, account trading or hacking), adult or gambling work and listings without a budget are left out. Still read every brief with care: our guide to Freelancer scams lists the red flags.
    • We count the projects MoreGigs sees, so Freelancer.com as a whole can have more.
    • Nothing here says who bid on a project. Projects are shown only as posted.
    • MoreGigs is independent and not affiliated with Freelancer.com. To bid, open the project on Freelancer.

How to get to new projects first

    • Bid soon after a project is posted, while the client is still reading proposals. The Freelancer.com project report shows the hours and days most projects arrive.
    • Keep the skills on your Freelancer profile focused, so the projects Freelancer shows you match what you do.
    • Answer the client's actual question in your first two lines. Our Freelancer proposal template shows how.
    • Skip projects you can't do well. A few careful bids do more for your profile than many generic ones.

Can't watch the feed all day? MoreGigs checks new projects every couple of minutes and sends a tailored proposal on the ones that fit your profile, priced inside the client's budget and paced to your Freelancer plan's bids. Check your profile for free.

    Freelance jobs for beginners

Some skills are easier to start with because clients hire for care and reliability more than a long portfolio: data entry, virtual assistant work, writing and Excel. Others, such as web development, app development and logo design, reward a portfolio of real work.

Whichever you pick, start with small, well-defined projects to build your first reviews. Our guide on how to get your first projects on Freelancer walks through the profile, verification and pricing.
